Glenn Minami has been shaping and designing surfboards for over 30 years. He has achieved a worldwide reputation of building boards that are of the highest quality and workmanship. His skill as a shaper is well recognized as one of the very best in terms of precision and accuracy.
With the knowledge and experience accumulated through the 30,000+ boards shaped, Glenn has ventured into a new company, Infamy Surfboards. His line of Infamy boards are shaped and manufactured on the North Shore of Oahu where his ideas and designs are test in the most challenging of conditions.
Glenn specializes in custom handshaped surfboards and is very attentive to the wants and needs of his customers. This attests to the fact that custom orders make up over 90% of his shaping. Glenn's versatility as a shaper is evident in that he is able to shape nearly every kind of surfboard proficiently from 4'2" grom models, to 5'10" retro twin fishes, to 9'6" longboards, to 10'6" Waimea Rhyno Chasers. With feedback from the many surfers who ride his boards, as well as from talented professionals and the Infamy Team rippers. Glenn is kept on the cutting edge of performance shaping.
