The Takayama Halo center fins have been proven by many that you will get more drive and tighter turning radius for Longboards and SUP's. The reason is the Halo has a lot less rack than a conventional fin. A fin with less rack will make your surfboard pivot or turn faster.
The tip of the Halo is the same shape as the Halo side fins, the side fin shape will give you more drive off the bottom. The more drive off the bottom of the wave means the board will not stall, so you can make the
sections. The fin has no pointed tip, this allows the fin to release at the top of the wave for a tighter turn.
