This board was developed in the 80's for team riders only. It was and still is one of the favorite boards during contests for Takayama's team riders.
Its called "In The Pink" because the original color was a Neon Pink Nose with a Black Band and yellow body. The reason the nose was Pink is so the Judges in the stands can see from far way when the rider was on the nose, Hench "In The Pink".
Just up in till about 5 years ago only team riders were able to get the board. Now its available to the regular surfers, it by far the #1 Selling Model in the world. Many have tried to copy but none ride like
the "In The Pink".
Good for someone that is looking to catch lots of waves, have an easy time turning and wants to surf Knee High to a little over head waves.
Suited for any level of surfing ability from Beginners to Advanced surfers.

This board is the modern version of the NR-2. It has a 2+1 fin set up, a 60/40 rail and a harder edge towards the tail.
