2016 Point Panic Experience BodySurf - HandBoard Vissla, DaFiN and Hawaiian South Shore are proud to present the iconic bodysurfing and handboarding contest, Point Panic Experience! This year will be the 8th annual Point Panic contest, which runs in the form of a two-day, wave-filled, stoke fest. Point Panic is one of very few bodysurfing contests with a 3 month holding period, running from July 15th until October 15th, 2016. Why so long? Because for Point Panic, conditions have to be perfect -- 90 feet and glassy. The wait is worth it. Competitors and spectators flood the South Shore of Oahu to join the madness, excited to perform and watch thrilling and innovative waveriding. Information from the Contest Sheet below DOWNLOAD PDF ENTERY FROM HERE When: A one-time annual FRIDAY-SATURDAY (or SAT-SUN, surf permitting) event with holding period beginning Fri, July 15th till Sat, Oct. 15th 2016. Check in begins at 7AM. 1st competition heat starts promptly at 8AM. Surf and wind conditions determine event call. What: An OPEN bodysurfng (Day 1) and OPEN handboarding (Day 2) competition with 40 competitors maximum in each competition.
