A Traditional single fin longboard with a very different tail design to create lift on the nose with the response and drive off the tail.

The outline lends itself to traditional longboard designs, wider in the tail, wide in the middle with a slightly more pulled in the nose.

With a combination of traditional aspects and new school design, we have created a "Modern Noserider" that will Hold and Lift whilst tight in the pocket Noseriding creating a feeling like no other.

Thunderbolt Technologies

Utilizes an EPS closed-cell foam with a T-shaped fiberglass stringer that is placed strategically so the board has flex on the Nose and Twist on the Tail. Flex on the nose for more control when you nose-ride. Twist on the tail for speed and better turning.

Believe or not, after years of testing and time trails, Thunderbolt Technologies discovered having a tail with twist and flex speeds up the board. That is way so many are surprised the boards are fast enough to handle surfing North Shore.

Welcoming Ben Skinner to the Hawaiian South Shore Team

Coming from the UK, you have may not have heard much about Ben “Skindog” Skinner in the past—but we have a feeling that is about to change. From a successful junior career in Britain to a third-place finish in the longboarding world championships in 2015, Skinner’s star has been on the rise for a while now, and every year his reputation as a surfer grows. And recently, his reputation as a shaper has taken off as well.

Like many professional longboarders, Skinner has an intimate understanding of what makes a good surfboard, and he has been shaping his own line of logs for years now. As his international following continues to grow, so has the interest in his boards, and he is now shaping for shops and surfers all over the world. He has also teamed up with Thunderbolt Technology, which provides cutting-edge surfboard construction. Skinner is joined in the Thunderbolt family by surfer/shaper/designers such as CJ Nelson and Harley Ingleby, and is right at home in that elite company.
