The cruiser has a lot of volumes but the surfboard is really light and easy to maneuver. Believe me, it’s a super fun board to ride. It’s the perfect surfboard for a weekend warrior. Somebody that’s small-framed that wants a lot of floats can even surf it because this surfboard is super easy to turn. The 9’5 has just as much volume as a standard 10’ board.
Utilizes an EPS closed-cell foam with a T-shaped fiberglass stringer that is placed strategically so the board has flex on the Nose and Twist on the Tail. Flex on the nose for more control when you nose-ride. Twist on the tail for speed and better turning.
Believe it or not, after years of testing and time trails, Thunderbolt Technologies discovered having a tail with twists and flex speeds up the surfboard. That is why so many are surprised the boards are fast enough to handle surfing North Shore.
Surfs like regular fiberglass. No corky funky feeling like the other epoxy surfboard. Slightly lighter than fiberglass, but designed to flex in strategic parts of the board for performance.
