Harley Ingleby’s Moe
The Perfect Surfboard for Movember—or Anytime!
Harley Ingleby might be best known for his longboarding prowess, but he’s actually an extremely accomplished surfer on all types of boards. He rips on a shortboard as well as he does on a longboard and understands that sometimes you just want to have less foam under your feet.
That’s the goal with the Moe, his mid-length surfboard, funboard shape that is intended for anyone from beginners looking for their first board to intermediate surfers who want a bit more paddle power, and even expert longboarders who feel like riding something a bit shorter every now and then.
The Moe carries adequate volume without sacrificing maneuverability. It draws speed from a flat rocker upfront that gives way to a double-concave through the tail, which provides the loose, rippable feel of a shortboard. Thin rails throughout and a tucked down-rail in the tail make the board sensitive and responsive, without losing control in the pocket.
Whether you are looking to add some progressive turns to your longboard repertoire or are simply looking for your first board, the Moe is an ultra-enjoyable answer to the shoulder season between summer and winter.
