While there are nearly infinite different styles of boards and combinations of design elements that can go into surf craft, sometimes you just want a good old-fashioned all-rounder—something that works in all conditions, is high-performance without being overly complicated, and is built for high-performance shredding. These boards are often simple yet elegant, combining a clean outline with moderate rocker and a multi-functional tail like a rounded squash.
This is exactly what JS Industries has created with their new, ultimate all-rounder, the Xero. Combining design features from three of their most popular boards (the rocker of the Blak Box, the outline of the Monsta, and the rails and concaves of the Monsta Box), the board is fast down the line, fits well into a variety of wave faces, and turns on a dime, and maintains control through hollow sections. Featuring a single to double concave and a thruster setup on stock boards, the Xero is built in JS’s carbon fusion polyurethane, providing that classic, natural feel, but with additional strength and snap. Perfect for modern ripping in knee- to head-high+ waves, the Xero is the ultimate high-performance board.
