The Quiver Killer by Lib Tech and…Lost

Snowboard company Lib Tech has been dabbling in the surf world for a while now, blending popular shapes with durable, lightweight, eco-friendlier materials and construction processes. With each new addition to their quiver, they continue to raise the bar, but their latest model is set to blow the bar out of the water. The Quiver Killer is exactly that—a…Lost shape by Matt Biolos that was designed to do away with your rack full of boards and become a one-board quiver.

In order to do what its name suggests, the Quiver Killer has to thrive in both good waves and poor conditions. The drawn in thumbnail tail and performance rocker curve provides control and maneuverability in hollow, punchy waves, facilitating both power turns and barrel rides. At the same time, the continuous curve and increased volume facilitate drive and trim in waves that might not have a lot of power, making this a board that excels when the waves aren’t exactly pumping. Relatively wide for its length, the Quiver Killer paddles and accelerates down the line like a groveler, but holds steady when the surf gets juicy.

The Quiver Killer is available as short as 5'8" (with a volume of 29 liters due to a 19.5" width) and as long as 6'4" (21" wide and 40 liters), meaning this board is available to surfers of all sizes and abilities. The board comes stock with five fin boxes, so you can set it up as both a thruster and a quad (or go with a small center fin for the five-fin feel).

Here at Hawaiian South Shore, we are especially excited about the Quiver Killer and the other Lib Tec models and are the exclusive dealer in Hawaii. For those on the outer islands looking to get their hands on a Lib Tech board, we can ship via Aloha Air Cargo, where the flat rate fee is typically around $35, one way.
