Soleil Errico’s favorite time to surf is during “Velvet Hour,” that magic time between sunset and total dark when the lineup empties out, the sky turns a moody lavender, and the wind blows light offshore to groom the last few waves of the day. She named her log after this dreamy evening window and designed it to support long noserides and traditional surfing. Available in either pink or lavender, the Velvet Hour comes in two sizes: 9'3" x 23" x 3" (74.3 liters) and 9'6" x 23" x 3 1/16" (74.5 liters). It features the futuristic Thunderbolt Technology carbon fiber flex patterns, combining the ultimate in high-performance construction with the timeless trim of a traditional log.

THUNDERBOLT TECHNOLOGY

Utilizes an EPS closed-cell foam with a T-shaped fiberglass stringer that is placed strategically so the board has flex on the Nose and Twist on the Tail. Flex on the nose for more control when you nose-ride. Twist on the tail for speed and better turning.

Believe it or not, after years of testing and time trails, Thunderbolt Technologies discovered having a tail with twist and flex speeds up the board. That is why so many are surprised the boards are fast enough to handle surfing North Shore.

Surfs like regular fiberglass. No corky funky feeling like the other epoxy boards.
