After a 20-year hiatus, longboarding has once again become ubiquitous in the surfing world. Providing the benefits of logs, but in a slightly more manageable package, high-pro longboards are easy to surf and fun for just about everyone. Shaper Dan Mann has made a career out of building boards that help the average surfer have fun in average waves, so it is only natural that he would eventually shape a performance longboard. And Taylor Jensen is one of the best high-performance longboarders in the world and a three-time world champion, so it was sort of a no-brainer for Jensen and Mann to team up.
