🐣 Hidden Gems of Hawaii Series | Yakitori Edition 🐣

🙆‍♀️

The weather in Hawaii continues to be sunny! 👍

As far as I know, there are four yakitori restaurants in Hawaii.
All of them are Japanese-owned.

So the atmosphere inside is just like a yakitori restaurant in Japan.
It brings back memories from 30 years ago 🤣

Come to think of it, I don't go to yakitori restaurants in Japan anymore?
Why is that? My friends don't invite me either... 🤣

🍢 A Yakitori Restaurant Known to Those in the Know

@torikyu_hawaii
A place known to those in the know.

The cozy interior has counter seats and table seats.
There are many local regulars.

Which means... it's delicious! 💕

🍗 Extensive Menu Selection

The menu also has an amazing variety.
Yakitori, of course, but also various cuts, bacon-wrapped items, pork skewers, beef skewers, tongue, salads, and more.

Actually, there are limited things I can eat even here 💦

✨ My Recommended Order

My order is usually like this 👇

Negima → Tsukune → Bacon with Enoki → Bacon with Asparagus →
Then back to Negima again 🤣

Both tare (sauce) and shio (salt) are recommended.

The chicken is Hawaiian-grown, and the more you chew, the better it tastes.
It's juicy and delicious! 💕

The grilled onigiri is also recommended! 👍

🍶 A Cozy Restaurant

All the staff are very pleasant and it's a comfortable place. ◎

The location is a bit far from Waikiki, but it's a quick drive.
Alcohol 🥃 goes down well too.
