Good morning,
The rain started last night, and I woke up many times during the night because of the sound of the rain ๐ฉ
It's been raining heavily since morning and it doesn't look like it's going to stop.
The TV news is showing weather updates all day today, which is helpful for understanding the situation.
The biggest problem right now is that a dam near the North Shore is about to overflow, and people are being evacuated.
This morning, even some of the designated evacuation centers were deemed dangerousโ ๏ธ, so people are being moved to different locations.
The road to Haleiwa on the North Shore is closed, making it an isolated area.
This storm ๐ is expected to continue until Sunday (tomorrow is Friday here in Hawaii) ๐ฅฒ
