๐ The Mystical Dawn in Hawaii This Morning ๐
Lately in Hawaii, it doesn't get bright until around 7 AM. And it starts to get dark around 6:30 PM.
Today's Sunrise & Sunset
I just checked, and today...
Sunrise: 07:11 AM
Sunset: 06:19 PM
Dawn truly is mystical.
After the Mist, the Rainbow We Waited For ๐
After that, it rained for the first time in a while โ It was a light mist for about an hour, but it stopped quickly.
When it stopped... the long-awaited rainbow ๐ appeared.
Lately, I often hear customers say,
"I haven't seen a rainbow yet. I thought I'd see one when I came to Hawaii!"
But rainbows don't appear without rain. And they don't appear during heavy downpours.
They appear during light mist ๐ง๏ธ. What Hawaiians call a "shower." (Locals don't seem to say "squall" much... maybe it's a word Japanese people created? ๐คฃ)
Rainbow Check from the Lanai โ Faint Double Too!
This morning, I checked thoroughly from the lanai โ And there it was! ๐
Plus, a faint double ๐๐!
Even though I'm used to seeing rainbows, they always look beautiful and lift my spirits.
Finally... I found a funny Senryu (Japanese poem) ๐คฃ
Which one did you find the funniest?
For me, it was number 3.
My friend says number 10 is her ๐คฃ
