I got both the 10.0 and the 7.5, the 10 for my 9.6 DT Long Scorpion single fin and the 7.5 for my DT4 2+1 setup. The 10 made the Long Scorpion snap in and out of cutbacks what with the aggressive tail of the Scorpion already and nice and stable on noseride. I haven’t tried the 7.5 yet, , will try it when waves get much bigger but it’s sure to liven up the board. Mahalo nui Hawaiian South Shore for turning me on to those fins, especially before they are pau for ever. I ordered the 10 on Friday afternoon and it was in the mailbox on Maui Monday am, Lala wreaking havoc notwithstanding. Amazing customer service and support 5 hōkū 🤙

This is an incredible fin! I'm able to do things on my surfboard I wasn't able to do previously; my bottom turns and cutbacks are stronger! The flexing of this fin definitely helps.

Have been after a fin with a different feeling for my bonzer, think this fin will be what I am after.
Only ingredient missing are waves….in the middle of an extreme flat spell.

I love these fins both in a 2+1 set up and also the larger size for my single fin setup! My boards really snap in the turns and is extremely responsive., I'm completely happy with the quality and finish.

I have been surfing all my life about 60 years I m using them from 7” 2+1 7” on my 2 Ben Apia 10-2 & 9-0 Big Boy Sting works better the before Like it’s been reborn ride great top & bottom flexing on the turns then Snap back, nice roller coaster action ! Then I have it on my 3 single fin boards my wifey Taylor, Jensen 9” & my David Nuiwa, Surftech 10” with the fin at the very back of the board then my Ben Skinner 10” last my work board 2+1 11-0

I'm Eric, from Central Oahu. I came to compliment Hawaiian South Shore on the Black Tip fin on a custom board. I rode it at Sunset Beach last week, first time on the board. It was set up with SB1 sides, 2+1 config. The fin was really good, the board felt super natural and comfortable. Surfing off the point, the fin had lots of drive.
My first bottom turn I noticed the flex and energy, coming up, coming down, and driving through the pocket. I couldn't recommend the fin enough. I came looking for something different but the recommendation to try the Black Tip worked out so well with the SB1s.
The board is a 7'3" custom hybrid between a cheater 5 and sniper gun, tapered in to fit the pocket at Rockies. That's what it's intended for. I'm psyched on the Black Tip fin and how it worked for that board. Some legendary shapers saw it getting waxed and commented. It's kind of infamous now on the North Shore.
