Thunderbolt Boards Restocked
Popular Thunderbolt longboards are back in stock this week — four models spanning hybrid performance, classic long hull, and pure high-performance longboarding. Sizes are moving quickly.
CJ Nelson Chameleon — 9'1" Thunderbolt Black
The CJ Nelson Chameleon is a revolutionary longboard that defies categorization. Blending the best of both log and high-performance worlds, this board represents the combined knowledge and expertise of Ryan Engle and CJ Nelson.
It features performance rails and rocker for speed and responsiveness, a wide nose for stability, and a unique tail design for control at high speeds. The hybrid construction allows you to ride anywhere, in any condition, with total confidence.
Specs: 9'1" × 23" × 3" / 66L volume / Futures fins / Thunderbolt Black construction
CJ Nelson Parallax Plus — Thunderbolt Red
The Parallax Plus is a classic long hull surfboard designed by CJ Nelson × Ryan Engle. Inspired by Nat Young's performance during the summer of 1968 at Malibu, this board features more rocker, less roll, a performance rail, and a modest two-plus-one fin setup.
The board delivers speed, power, and flow. It's comfortable for deep pocket turns and long open-face arcs, with balanced drive through sections and tight turns. Response and acceleration are immediate throughout turns. Available in various sizes and fin setups — compatible with both thruster and quad configurations.
Harley Ingleby HI4 — 9'1"–9'3" Thunderbolt Red
The HI4 is Harley's go-to performance longboard for anything up to a bit over head-high faces. It's wider all round with more plane shape curve between your feet, making it incredibly loose and easy to turn.
It utilizes the continual HP rocker with the last 6 inches flipped up, so with the wider dimensions it's still very at home in the pocket. The even rocker, nose concave, and wider nose combination makes the HI4 the easiest to walk and nose ride of the entire HI series.
Harley Ingleby MOE — Thunderbolt Red
Released in 2022, the Harley Ingleby MOE quickly gained recognition for its innovative design and versatility. This funboard is ideal for surfers who want to go shorter without losing paddling power. The MOE's design shifts volume back under the chest, making it easier to paddle and enhancing foot placement toward the tail for better control.
The pulled-in outline and wide tail enable smooth rail-to-rail transitions, making it responsive and dynamic. It performs well in a range of wave conditions — from knee-high to 3' overhead — and is particularly suited for small to medium waves. The Moe blends stability, speed, and maneuverability for improved surfing at all levels.
Available in various lengths from 7'2" to 8'0", with widths around 22" to 22½". The 7'2" model runs slimmer at 49.4 liters, while the 8'0" is thicker with 60 liters for more float.
Takayama Halo Center Fin — Hawaiian South Shore Exclusive
The Takayama Halo Center Fin is a premium longboard performance fin, available now for preorder. Each fin is unique — crafted with authentic Hawaiian fabric, making every pattern placement one-of-a-kind.
This is a premium longboard fin designed by Donald Takayama for enhanced performance. It uses a revolutionary 2+1 fin system that combines traditional and modern fin technology, with an advanced center fin design optimized for nose riding and performance longboarding.

HSS JPN Wetsuits — Back in Stock
The Hawaiian South Shore JPN Model is 100% Made in Japan. As many of our longtime clients know, we've stocked premium, high-quality StrawHat wetsuits for years. Made from limestone-based neoprene in Japan, these wetsuits are environmentally friendlier, warmer, longer-lasting, thinner, and much softer than petroleum-based suits.
Because we're so impressed with these suits, Hawaiian South Shore has taken over the StrawHat line and rebranded it under the HSS logo — while keeping the same factory, materials, and craftsmanship. The Japanese construction also has added elasticity, allowing the suits to fit tight on the body without limiting motion.
One standout feature is the front-zip design, which doesn't impede paddling and makes the suit much easier to put on and remove. Designed specifically for Hawaii's conditions, the HSS JPN wetsuits are the perfect choice for breezy winter trade-wind days.
HSS Wetsuit Long Sleeve — JPN Model
Full long-sleeve coverage in limestone-based Japanese neoprene. Sizes small through XX-large. Front-zip construction.
HSS Wetsuit Vest 2mm — JPN Model
A 2mm vest in the same Japanese construction. Ideal for trade-wind mornings when a full suit is too warm but a rashguard isn't enough.
Flying Diamond Fins Restocked
Four signature longboard fins from Flying Diamond are back in stock this week — two CJ Nelson signatures and two Taylor Jensen Edge Sides color options.
CJ Nelson Involvement Longboard Fin — 9.0"–10.5" Black
Balanced speed and power. The CJ Nelson Involvement is a classic. Drawing on the simple and proven designs of our forefathers, subtle elements were added to this design to optimize it for speed and added power through turns. Clean, simple lines and perfect mid-range flex. The function-first concept makes this one of the easiest-riding fins we've ever come across.
CJ rides this fin in his Involvement logs primarily, but also uses it in his Parallax and Outlier models, and gliders when the waves get larger. It has less area and a touch more rake than the Power Flex model, making it more maneuverable for small-wave slashing.
CJ on this fin: "Works great on all boards that are designed to turn aggressively. It's where the Involvement's blend of drive and looseness can be put to full advantage."
CJ Nelson Parallax Longboard Fin — 9.5"–10.5" Black
Maximum speed and whip. The smaller surface area allows this fin to move through the water quickly with less side-to-side resistance. With its slender profile and speed foil, it's one of the fastest and loosest fins in the world today. It also smooths out flow in windy or choppy conditions.
CJ rides the Parallax in his Parallax and Outlier models, as well as gliders and any board he's trying to loosen up. Smaller sizes also work well in eggs and mid-lengths.
CJ on this fin: "This fin brings more life to any board, and is a must-have for any longboard turning enthusiast."
Taylor Jensen Edge Sides — Black & Red Options
Performance meets stability in this side-fin design. After more than 20 years on the World Longboard Tour riding and refining these fins, the goal was to create one set of side fins capable of handling a wide range of conditions and working in every board.
The Edge side fins provide a balanced combination of speed and control, helping maintain stability without sacrificing responsiveness. Whether you're setting up long noserides, hitting vertical off-the-lip turns, or driving through fast, powerful carves, these fins are designed to support smooth transitions and confident movement.
Available in multiple templates — Small (3.75"), Medium (4"), and Large (4.25") — paired with a 6.5" signature center fin. Lighter surfers will find the smaller side bites adequate, while heavier-footed surfers will prefer the control of larger side fins.
- Small / 3.75" — 100–155 lbs, 1–3 ft surf
- Medium / 4" — 145–195 lbs, 2–6 ft surf
- Large / 4.25" — 185+ lbs, 4 ft+ surf
Available in black (FCS II compatible) and red (Futures compatible).
