Harley Ingleby Stopped By the Shop
Last Saturday, Harley Ingleby walked into the shop on Ward Avenue like he'd been in a hundred times before. He talked story with the crew, posed for a few photos by the board wall, and was gone before most customers realized who'd just been standing next to them. No announcement, no entourage — just a guy who happened to be in Honolulu and wanted to see how his boards were selling. That doesn't happen every week.
The reason he stopped by makes sense once you see what just landed. His new HIBT 3+3 is in stock, and it's the kind of board that's worth a visit in person.
The HIBT 3+3: One Board, Three Ways to Ride
The HIBT 3+3 is Harley Ingleby's collaboration with shaper Billy Tolhurst, and the idea behind it is simple to explain but hard to pull off: one board, three different ways to ride it. Set it up as a true quad, a true twin, or an asym, and the board changes character each time. A quad setup gives you more drive and hold in bigger surf. Twin fins loosen everything up and make the board feel more playful in smaller waves. The asym setup — different fins on each rail — is built around how your body actually turns differently on your heel side versus your toe side, which sounds strange until you ride one and feel the difference yourself.
It's built as a performance fish-style shape that bridges the gap between a shortboard and a mid-length, so it holds speed through flat sections without losing the loose feel shortboard riders want. It's in stock now in 5'10", 6'0", 6'2", and 7'2".
Best for: shortboard riders who want more glide without switching to a mid-length

Also New: Mid 6 and MOE
If the HIBT 3+3 is the board for people who already know what they like in a shortboard, the Mid 6 and MOE are the ones for people looking for something more forgiving.
The Mid 6 is Harley's do-everything mid-length, and it's in stock across a wide range — 6'4" up to 7'10", in several colorways. If you've been thinking about a mid-length as a second board, this is the one people keep asking about.
The MOE just got restocked in 6'6" to 7'4", in Thunderbolt Black and Red. It's a rounder, more forgiving shape than the HIBT 3+3 — a good option if you want Harley's design touch without the multi-fin-setup learning curve. Between the two, the Mid 6 leans toward paddle power and glide, while the MOE leans toward maneuverability in smaller, softer surf. Neither is the wrong answer — it depends on what kind of waves you're actually riding most weeks.

Real Sun Cover: The Sunscreen That Doesn't Rub Off
We can't keep this one on the shelf. Even the kids ask for it — partly for the smell, partly because it doesn't smear all over your gear the way some sunscreens do. It's built by a sunscreen chemist who uses only zinc oxide, and that one choice is what makes the rest of it work.
Zinc oxide is 25% non-nano here, which gives it the broadest UV protection of any FDA-approved active ingredient, and it's genuinely reef-safe — no petrochemicals.
