The Lost Mini Driver Is Back at Hawaiian South Shore — And It's Not the Same Board
A customer walked into the shop last week, pointed at the new board on the wall, and asked if it was the same Mini Driver his friend rode in Waikiki fifteen years ago. Same name. Wrong answer. Lost brought the Mini Driver back this month with a new build called Lightspeed II, and two other boards from the same lineup are back in stock alongside it. A couple of fin sets, a run of gear from VEIA and Florence Marine X, and two Solarez repair kits rounded out the week too. Here's what's actually different, what's just restocked, and what's new on the wall.
Lost Surfboards — Matt Biolos
Matt Biolos has been shaping for Lost since the '90s, and three of his boards are on our wall this week — one brand new build, two back in stock after selling out. If you've been waiting on any of these three, now's the time. Stock on restocked shapes tends to move fast once the word gets out.
Lost Mini Driver Lightspeed II — New Build
The Mini Driver isn't a new idea. Kolohe Andino and Mason Ho have ridden versions of this shape for fifteen years, and it built a reputation as one of Lost's most dependable all-around boards. This month it comes back with a new build called Lightspeed II — the same short, wide, playful outline that works in average surf, but with a foiled rounded pin that holds when conditions push harder. Think of it as a Quiver Killer shape, tuned specifically for performance. If you've ridden the older Mini Driver and liked it, this version does the same job better once the surf gets bigger. If you haven't ridden one, it's a solid one-board answer for someone who surfs a range of conditions and doesn't want four boards taking up space in the garage.
It comes in four sizes: 5'10 (V30.00, FCS II fin setup), 6'2 (V35.50, FCS), 6'4 (V38.00, Futures), and 6'6 (V41.00, Futures). Fin setup changes by size, so check which one matches your board before you order fins separately.
Best For: One surfer who wants a single board that handles small days and bigger days without switching shapes.
Lost Formula 1 PU — Back In Stock
The Formula 1 sold out earlier this year and it's back on the wall in PU construction. It's built as a shorter, more maneuverable shape for surfers who want to move quickly on smaller, weaker days. Six sizes are in stock right now: 5'5, 5'6, 6'2, 6'3, 6'4, and 6'5.
Best For: Surfers who want quick, responsive turns on weaker, smaller days.
Lost Driver 3.0 PU — Restocked
The Driver 3.0 is back too, in three sizes: 6'2, 6'4, and 6'6. It's part of the same Driver lineage that's been a steady seller for us — built as a dependable all-around shape rather than a specialty board for one type of wave.
Best For: A dependable everyday board that doesn't ask you to think about which wave it's made for.
FCS II Fins
Two fin sets came back in stock this week, both FCS II, built for two different setups.
FCS II Harley Ingleby Mid Quad Rear — New
This set is new to the shop, sized Large, built as a quad rear pair under the Harley Ingleby Mid Performance Core line. If you're already running a quad setup and need a rear fin pair that matches, this is it.
Best For: Riders running a quad setup who need a matching rear pair.
FCS II Performer Center Fin — Restocked, Tranquil Blue
The Performer center fin is back in the Tranquil Blue colorway, sized M/XLarge. It's a single center fin, built for surfers running a 2+1 or similar setup who need one solid, predictable fin in the middle.

VEIA x Florence Marine X
Four new pieces from the VEIA x Florence Marine X line landed this week — a board sock, a travel bag, and two deck pads, all built around John John Florence's gear line. Three of the four are new arrivals, and the coffin bag is a restock after selling through last time it was in stock.
VEIA Explorer Mid Length Surfboard Sock — New, 7'6"
Sized for a 7'6" board, this sock is built to protect a mid-length on the way to and from the beach or in the car.
VEIA 3/2 Convertible Coffin Bag — Restocked, Fits 6'0"–6'6"
This travel bag is back in stock, sized to fit boards from 6'0" to 6'6". It's a convertible coffin-style bag, which means it can hold more than one board if you're packing for a trip.

Two new deck pad shapes came in this week, one cut for a squash tail and one for a round tail. Both are part of the JJF Pro line, in a remixed camo colorway.

Two tees from Florence Marine X are new on the rack. The Matson Tee comes in black, sized S through XL. The Medallion Tee comes in stone grey, sized S through L. Both are simple, everyday pieces if you want something from the brand that isn't board-specific gear.
Solarez Repair Kits
Solarez Epoxy and Poly Pro travel kits are both in stock, sized for quick repairs on the road. Epoxy kits work on epoxy boards; poly kits work on polyester boards, so check which construction your board uses before you pick one up.
