I'm a traveling nurse from San Diego, and my board is my baby, so I have to take good care of it. I picked up the mesh knit bag for my Machado board, and it's worked out very, very nicely. Even after multiple uses, it still looks and feels brand new. It holds my wax and gear, keeps the board well protected, and the best part is that the wax doesn't stick to it. It’s been the perfect bag for it!

Fits my new 9'6" noserider like a glove. Love the new fin zipper which makes for easy access and better fit overall. Would buy the 8'6" version of this sock in a heartbeat if it also came with the fin zipper!

I’m Jim from Australia. I picked up a knit bag from you guys before, and it is super easy to use. I’m actually picking up my second one now. I put my 6'0" board in it. I've left it in the car, and the wax doesn’t seem to get stuck to the bag at all. I’ve had other board socks before where the fabric gets stuck to the wax, but that doesn’t happen with this one. It saves my board from damage all the time. I just chuck it in the back of the truck and it bounces around a bit while I'm going to the North Shore and places like that, but there is no damage to the boards. It’s good.

Great product, really protects my surfboard well. I love how I can use easily on different lengths, from my 6’6” to my 5’6” just by rolling the end up and latching. Makes for a good fit ant the roll at the bottom seems like it may add a little extra protection.

I usually surf at Courts over in Ala Moana, and Hawaiian South Shore is pretty much the only store I come to for my gear. The guys are helpful and the products are awesome. I’ve had this mesh board bag for about four years now. It’s the only longboard bag I’ve ever used. It is super easy to slide on and off, and my favorite part is how simple it is—even if you don't have a fin on, you can just roll it up, or it just flips right around your fin. It’s real simple. As far as protecting the board and keeping it clean, it’s great. Even with wax on the board, it doesn't really stick to the material. I bought this bag at the same time I got my favorite board four years ago because I wanted to take care of it, and it’s still holding up really well. It has a little bit of wear and tear, but it’s a tough bag made of good material that keeps your board away from the elements. I have no complaints at all and highly recommend this bag and the shop

Delivery excellent, especially video informing me of posting off to the UK, allowing me to feel relaxed about such an international purchase. Albeit an expensive purchase with import taxes, the board socks are unique and very effective, keeping wax from melting and not creating a sandy waxy mess in my normal polyester mix board socks. One small gripe, not sure this bag would fit an 8'6" board as advertised, but as mine is 8'0 it fits perfectly with an inch to spare

Awesome item. Quality material and live the end clips to secure it closed. My only issue is that it doesn't slide over my soft top board. Not an item defect. It's simply the soft top board that causes this. I just roll it down. Again, great quality item! No regrets. Thanks.

The thing's super badass. I personally like it a lot more than the cloth ones. The wax doesn't stick to it, and there's no fighting with it to get the board in when it's wet or the wax is all melted. I can throw it in right after I'm done in the water, and it dries really quick. It's awesome. I like them way more than the cloth ones.

These surfboard socks have been amazing to travel with because it's a little bit cushy. So, it protects the boards when they're in transit, but it's also like a little day bag wherever you go. I'm going on boat access trip and so this will protect putting the boards say like on a van or on a boat and they're machine washable and they have been absolutely clutch on trips before and I'm stocking up for my next adventure.
Needed a new board bag quickly and the team at HSS made it happen thru on-line order and in-shop pickup the next day! Mahalo for the great service and the great bag (dry bag style roll and clip at the tail end of the bag is a great design feature!)

Good feeling material. Board doesn't seem to overheat when it's on the roof rack. Easy to use.. Not as protective as a real board bag but will do if you know what you want.

James here. We were doing a review on the S-Boss, and then we started talking about the Hawaiian South Shore knit bag. I really like this bag. It's the best bag I've ever had for transportation, not like your zip-up travel bag. I ride a motor scooter, so when I put the board on the back and sit on the nose, the top is exposed to heat. This bag prevents melting wax. It's great for driving up to Waikiki without dealing with parking. The wax doesn't stick to it, which is a big plus. It's really flexible and stretchy. I even use it on my Sweet Potato, which is 5'10" and really thick and wide. Other board bags I've had couldn't fit over it. I had a bad experience once with a cloth bag on a hot day that caused my board to delaminate, so I wanted something solid that wouldn't heat up too much. This bag helps the board dry and keeps the wax from melting. You can cinch it down to whatever size you want. Overall, it's a great bag for protecting your board and making transportation easier. I am John. I am using the hybrid Hawaiian South Shore sock on my Milo. I will be honest, I am not a fan of socks, but this one is super easy to get on and off. It does not stick to the board, it is not hard to pull off the rails, it does not bunch up on each other once you unravel it. The board just slides out super easy. You just roll it up and buckle it. If you had to get a sock, this would be the sock I would get. If you do not want to spend money on a bag, come down to Hawaiian South Shore and check it out. You can put this board in here when it is still wet, and it is able to dry out. 100%. Thanks
My name is Tony, and I am picking up some of the Hawaiian south shore knit bags. This will be my second or third one. They are perfect because you do not have to dry your board, and you do not have to put it in a board bag. It has a little protection and it sucks all the water out. You just store it and go. You can wash it too, which is sweet. I have had the old gray one forever, and the wax does not stick to it at all. You just pull the board right out and throw it right back in. I like the new ones because they are always trying to improve them. I still use the old one until it falls apart. I have had that gray one since the second order you got, so it has been at least three or four years, maybe four. It is still going strong, just me banging it up against wood and stuff, but that is me, not the bag. Thank you, have a good one
The best surfboard bag/sock!! The 7'0"-8'6" FunBoard sock fits my 7ft round nose surfboard perfectly! Compared to other covers these are easy to put on/take off, are padded without adding bulk, are grippy to allow for easy carrying, and the mesh fabric allows these to dry quickly and clean easily.
Excellent surfboard sock, the best out there. Like that its more durable than the fabric type of materials used on other socks. Allows my boards to dry and withstand heat with great airflow through the micro holes. Thickness allows much more support for better protection without being to bulky. The roll up and buckle system just seals the uniqueness of this product. Love it so much that I have one for all my boards. Thanks for a great product Hawaiian South Shore.

Board sock material is great! The width is a tough issue on the wider boards, due to the bottom buckle liner on the sock that is hard to 'stretch' over the widest part of the board. But material is high quality and seems like it will last awhile.
