Lost Surfboards — Back in Stock
If you have been waiting on Lost surfboards to come back in, this is your week. We just restocked four models from Matt Biolos and the Lost team, ranging from high-performance shortboards to a versatile mid-length. These boards have been some of the most requested shapes at our Honolulu shop, and sizes are already moving.
Lost RNF 96 Lightspeed II
The Lost RNF 96 carries a legacy that goes back to 1996 when Chris Ward and Cory Lopez rode the original to change surfing. Refined over 25 years, this board delivers all the speed of a fish with all the control of a shortboard. Built in the Lightspeed II construction, it is designed for surfers who want shortboard performance, not just fish speed.
The pulled-in tail delivers shortboard control rather than the typical loose fish feel. A single to double concave with vee keeps you fast down the line with drive through turns. It works in everything from knee-high to overhead — this is not just a small-wave board. Where typical fish shapes just go straight, the RNF 96 actually rips. The tail width matches high-performance shortboards for maximum control off the tail, and the MR-inspired outline is built for competitive performance.
Tested and validated by Kolohe Andino, Coco Ho, Ian Crane, and Crosby Colapinto. Same dims as your standard shortboard. Knee-high to overhead waves.
Best For: Surfers who want fish speed with real shortboard control. Works across a wide range of conditions from small to overhead.

Lost Pisces Blacksheep
The Lost Pisces is the performance fish evolved. Three years of refining the RNF 96 created a new species — your everyday performance fish that handles all conditions for every surfer. Built in Blacksheep construction, this board turns tighter and carves harder than any fish you have ridden.
The Pisces delivers tighter pocket turns than any fish you have ridden, carves perpendicular on the face with real control, and offers fin-free control in the lip while skating across flats. It combines the speed and stability of a fish with the precision of a shortboard. Key design features include a pulled-in nose with added front rocker for easier wave entry, deeper concave and curved rail rocker for pocket control, and a mellow wing aligned with front fins for precision turning. It supports a 5-fin setup with Quad, Twin+2, Twin+1, Twin, or Thruster options.
Three years of daily refinement by Matt Biolos. Born from 25 years of proven RNF design.
Best For: Surfers who want a performance fish that turns like a shortboard. Works across all conditions with multiple fin configuration options.

Lost Formula 1 PU
The Lost Formula 1 in traditional PU construction is a world championship-proven shape. This is Yago Dora's 2025 world title weapon, the board he used to win Trestles and cement the dominance of this design. It also carries Julian Wilson's legacy — combining the F1 model Julian dominated the world tour with in the early 2010s, blended with modern Driver 3.0 elements.
Built for powerful waves, the deep single to double concave with round pin tail delivers extra bite through all types of turns, from carves to bottom turns. Progressive design refinements include added nose rocker set back more than the Driver 3.0, reduced tail rocker, and thin tail block for enhanced performance. The round pin design has been a staple of every power surfer's quiver for more than 40 years — this is the latest high-performance round pin from Lost.
Perfect for you if: You are an aggressive rider who pushes your board to the limit in powerful waves. You surf hollow or larger waves and need control and flow for progressive surfing. You want a board built for everything from rippable peaks to large, hollow walls. You appreciate the type of surfing used in Hawaii and world tour-proven performance.
Best For: Advanced surfers looking for a world tour-proven high-performance shortboard for solid to powerful conditions.

Lost California Mid Blacksheep
The Lost California Mid in Blacksheep construction is the latest collaboration between Mark Richards (MR) and Matt "Mayhem" Biolos, designed during MR's Summer 2024 California visit. This board is a logical and literal extension of the beloved CA-Twin, stretched into mid-length territory to give you more paddle power and wave-catching ability without sacrificing that fast, loose feel.
The Blacksheep construction uses lightweight 1.5lb virgin EPS and advanced Triax-NCF carbon fiber for a fast, responsive, and surprisingly strong board that feels lively yet familiar underfoot. All the proven design DNA of the CA-Twin is here, just stretched into mid-length territory. The pulled-in tail creates a broader range for standing and turning, making this board forgiving and versatile across different wave types and sizes.
Perfect for you if: You love the CA-Twin but want more length and glide for easier paddling. You have embraced mid-length surfing and appreciate longer rail lines. You are looking for a board that performs in small to medium surf without the daily fight. You want a versatile travel companion that handles a wide range of conditions. You appreciate the heritage of Mark Richards' iconic twin fin designs.
Best For: All skill levels who want more wave count with the speed and feel of a twin fin. Ideal for small to medium surf and everyday sessions.

Leash Reliance Longboard — Knee 9 & Ankle 9
The Creatures Reliance Longboard Knee Leash is a lightweight leash built for small to medium waves. A new generation of reliability for all-round surf conditions, this 9ft leash has you covered from the local beachie to slightly more demanding reef setups. Measuring 9 ft (2.7 m) in length, it provides optimal freedom of movement while maintaining safe board connection. The 9/32" (7 mm) cord thickness delivers the perfect balance of durability and lightweight comfort, helping reduce drag without compromising strength. A 1 3/4" (43 mm) cuff width ensures a secure and comfortable knee fit, preventing slippage during long sessions. Complete with a 1" (25 mm) railsaver to protect your board from wear at the attachment point.
The Ankle 9 version offers the same build quality with ankle attachment for surfers who prefer that connection point. Knee attachment is preferred by most longboarders for cross-stepping, while ankle works well for surfers who stay near the tail.

Scott Hawaii Sandals + Essentials
Scott Hawaii has been making sandals in the islands for decades, and they remain one of the best values in comfortable, durable footwear for the Hawaii lifestyle. We restocked two popular models this week, plus a must-have accessory for board maintenance.
Scott Manoa Brown Aina & Kaikane Green Camo
Scott Sandals has been an integral part of Hawaii's fashion industry for almost 90 years. Started in 1932 by the Scott family after they came to Oahu on vacation and decided to stay, the company brought high-quality shoe craftsmanship to Hawaii along with 28 tons of machinery. After World War II led to material shortages, Scott Sandals decided to focus solely on slippers, and over the next eight decades these slippers have become synonymous with the Hawaiian experience.
Available in a variety of materials including nylon, rubber, leather, and vegan leather, Scott Sandals blend quality craftsmanship with comfort and style — the perfect choice for a trip to the beach or a casual day at the office. In a place where slippers are practically the official Hawaii state shoe, Scott Sandals are a ubiquitous part of our culture, which is precisely why we are so stoked to stock them here at Hawaiian South Shore. The Manoa Brown Aina is a classic everyday style and the Kaikane Green Camo offers a popular camo pattern.
