A deck pad, or tail pad, is a grip pad you stick on the tail of your surfboard so your back foot does not slip. This page shows all our deck pads. Choose a flat pad for full tail coverage, or one with an arch and kick if you want to find your back foot without looking.

Buying guide

Tail shape: match the pad to your tail (squash, round or pin). Many pads are listed by tail.
Pieces: 3-piece pads fit most shortboards; 4 and 5 piece pads let you fit wider tails.
Arch and kick: a raised arch and kick help you find your back foot without looking.
Width: wider tails (fish, grovelers) suit wide pads such as VEIA Explorer Magnum Wide or fish pads.
