Hawaiian South Shore Exclusive
HSS JPN Wetsuit Longsleeves
The HSS JPN Model is 100% made in Japan. Built with limestone-based neoprene, these wetsuit tops are warmer, longer-lasting, thinner, and softer than petroleum-based alternatives. Hawaiian South Shore has taken over the StrawHat line and rebranded it under the HSS logo — same high-quality construction, same Japanese factory.
The front-zip design is a standout feature. The zipper doesn't interfere with paddling, makes the suit easier to put on and take off, and reduces material overstretching. These are built specifically for Hawaii's breezy trade-wind winter days.
Best For: Surfers who want a premium, lightweight wetsuit top for cooler Hawaiian mornings without the bulk of a full suit.

HSS Hoodie Surf Supply
The Hawaiian South Shore Hoodie in navy is a relaxed, unisex pullover that blends comfort with island style. The roomy silhouette fits easy through the body and shoulders, making it ideal for layering or wearing on its own. Ribbed cuffs and waistband hold shape through regular use.
The heavy-weight fabric balances warmth and breathability — the right weight for when trade winds pick up or air conditioning runs cold. The soft inside finish holds up to frequent washes and daily island wear.
Best For: A versatile layer for dawn sessions, beach nights, boardwalk walks, and travel days.
Firewire Surfboards
Firewire Mindcraft Ibolic 2.0 — Tomo x Kelly Slater Collaboration
The first Tomo x Kelly Slater collaboration in several years. The Mindcraft features an elliptical torpedo nose that shortens swing weight for quick direction changes, and Kelly's bump wing round tail provides release behind the front fins for tight pivots with a smooth, flowing feel. A single-to-double concave keeps the board engaged with the wave face.
The parallel outline lets you ride 2-4 inches shorter without losing paddle power. It's front-foot friendly — generating speed down the line without constant back-foot pumping. The 5-fin setup gives you thruster control or quad speed depending on conditions. Built with Ibolic 2.0 construction: 2 lb EPS foam core, high-density composite deck skin, and bio resin for traditional flex and predictable response.
Best For: A daily driver built for 2-6 foot surf at waist to head-high. Ride it shorter, paddle it the same.

Firewire NEUTRINO Ibolic 2.0
Designed by Daniel Thomson, the Neutrino is the evolution of his Modern Planing Hull (MPH) concept. Inspired by the original Nano from 2008/2009, this performance hybrid delivers speed and maneuverability in a compact package using Ibolic 2.0 technology.
The breakthrough features include a wide chop tail design — one of the lowest drag tails available — that releases water symmetrically over the chop angle. The quad-inside-single-concave creates lift and freedom by reducing drag across the boundary layer. Tomo's ultra-parallel rail line allows for the shortest possible board while maintaining maximum functional rail length. The refined nose design provides paddle area with reduced swing weight for responsive performance in critical sections.
Best For: Surfers who want a performance hybrid that rides like a shortboard but paddles like a bigger board.

Firewire Spaceship Ibolic 2.0
This is the board Kelly Slater rode during his memorable Kirra sessions in March 2024. Shaped by Mike Woo (@woosurfboards), the Spaceship represents decades of R&D — a high-performance model designed for good waves with a conventional outline built for hold in tubes, turns on rail, and hold in round wave faces.
The shape features a rounded pintail with a single concave in the front half that transitions to a double concave between your feet, performance rails, and rocker designed to fit into the curve of good waves. It performs in tubes over reef passes, turns on rail at point breaks, and holds through perfect beach breaks. Built in Ibolic 2.0 construction for traditional flex and response.
Best For: Experienced surfers looking for a performance shortboard that excels in quality waves from Canggu to Coolangatta.

Firewire Spaceship Proflex
The same Spaceship shape in Firewire's most advanced construction. Proflex Technology is Firewire's answer to the highest-performance carbon construction — a sandwich build with a 1.5 lb EPS core and 3mm proprietary deck skin, with an engineered Technora carbon cage in between.
The lamination uses S-glass on the deck for superior strength and performance, with carbon on the bottom lapped over the apex of the rail for increased strength, durability, and controlled flex. If you want the Spaceship shape with the lightest, most responsive construction Firewire makes, this is it.
Best For: Performance surfers who want the pinnacle of Firewire's construction technology in a proven good-wave shape.

FCS Fins — Back in Stock
FCS II Mason Ho Code Red PC+AirCore
The Mason Ho signature fin is a hybrid template that combines elements of Kelly Slater's K-3 and Mick Fanning's signature designs. Built in Performance Core + AirCore construction for enhanced reactivity and control, with a bevelled leading edge for seamless turn transitions.
This is a true all-rounder — one fin set that works from small wave fun boards to big wave guns. The hybrid template balances control and looseness, making it a strong choice for surfers who want quick response and explosive maneuverability across a wide range of conditions from 2 to 20 feet.
Best For: Surfers who want one versatile fin set that performs across all conditions and board types.

FCS II Matt Biolos Mayhem Performance Core
Designed by shaper Matt "Mayhem" Biolos — same proven MB template with a fresh look. The fin offers freedom to perform tight turns in the pocket with an emphasis on speed. Part of the Reactor family, it's a high-performance fin that responds fast while still providing enough control to lay into turns with force.
Works across a wide range of conditions, particularly strong in critical overhead waves. Designed for the FCS II system and built for performance shortboards and hybrid models.
Best For: Shortboard surfers who want speed-oriented fins that hold in powerful conditions.

FCS II Al Merrick PC+AirCore
Al Merrick's AM template in ultralight AirCore construction. The raked side fins produce exceptional speed and drive, while the smaller centre fin on the medium and large templates offers quick release through turns. Designed for radical, progressive surfing.
Ideal conditions are hollow, steep waves and punchy beach breaks. These fit performance boards with deep concaves and moderate-to-extreme rocker. The Carver fin family classification means powerful, drawn-out turns with added hold. Built in PC AirCore construction for the lightest possible weight.
Best For: Surfers riding performance shortboards in hollow, steep conditions who want speed, drive, and release.

FCS II Britt Merrick Twin Performance Glass
The Britt Merrick twin fin bridges the gap between the CI Keel and AM Twin. This high-area design provides the drive and hold you expect from a keel, combined with the pivot and release found in the upright AM twin template. The BM template has a swept-back long leading edge that leads into a fully rounded tip — designed to feel secure through longer turns while driving hard off the bottom.
The highest area twin set in the FCS range. The low sweep (rake) and narrow tip means these fins pivot and release well while maintaining trim speed and the ability to break quickly into a turn. Built in Performance Glass construction for a flexible, flowing feel.
Best For: Twin fin riders who want keel-like drive with more aggressive turning ability.

Details include front slash zip pockets and a contrast plier utility pocket on the side panel.
CORDURA® fabric has served demanding users from alpinists to military for generations. As a boardshort material, it provides a tough exterior with enough stretch and softness to stay chafe-free through extended use. These drape better than typical boardshorts because of the fabric weight and structure.
