LOST QUIVER KILLER
The Lost Quiver Killer is a modern hybrid designed to cover a wide range of conditions without compromising performance — one board that handles whatever shows up. Built around a continuous curve outline, moderate rocker, and a rounded pin tail, it generates speed in weaker surf and maintains precise control when the waves have shape.
WHO
The Quiver Killer suits surfers who want performance without the need to swap boards as conditions shift.
- Intermediate surfers ready to move beyond a pure groveler and into something that can hold up in better waves
- Advanced surfers who want a single board that travels well and handles daily lineups without concessions
- Surfers who split their time between smaller, inconsistent surf and occasional solid days — and don't want a separate board for each
- Heavier or taller surfers who need extra volume without sacrificing the feel of a performance shape
- Anyone consolidating their quiver and looking for one board to cover the majority of their sessions
If you've ever wanted to leave the rack decision at home and paddle out knowing the board in your hands is the right one, this is that board.
WHEN
The Quiver Killer performs across a wide range of conditions — from shoulder-high slop to overhead surf with real shape. Its forward outline and generous surface area generate paddle speed and momentum in weak, slow-rolling waves where other shortboards go flat. When the surf improves, the pulled-in rounded pin tail and lower tail rocker provide the hold and control needed for committed turns and steeper drops. In Hawaii, where conditions can swing from soft morning surf to punchy afternoon sets in the same session, the Quiver Killer adjusts without asking you to.
WHAT
The Quiver Killer is built around a continuous curve outline — no abrupt transitions, no exaggerated features. The nose is moderately wide for early paddle-in, tapering through the midsection into a rounded pin tail that sits between a thumb tail and a narrow pin. That tail shape is the key to the board's range: enough surface area to stay lively in weak surf, enough pull to lock in on steeper faces. The nose rocker is moderate, initiating turns with forward momentum rather than resistance. The tail rocker is lower, adding drive and speed off the back foot without stiffening the ride. A single to slight double concave bottom pushes water through the fins and supports fluid rail-to-rail transitions in both small and solid surf.
The 2025 version is a digital re-master of the original files — shapes cleaned up for consistency, graphics refreshed, core dims unchanged. The board has been available in PU, Lightspeed II, and Double Dart constructions, each bringing a different feel to the same proven shape. PU delivers a classic flex and weight that many surfers trust in heavier conditions. Lightspeed II uses S-Glass and Innegra composite materials for a lighter, more responsive ride that damps vibration better than carbon-based epoxy builds. Double Dart is Lost's premium hand-laminated construction for surfers who want maximum performance in a refined package.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does the Quiver Killer paddle and perform in small surf?
The Quiver Killer paddles exceptionally well in smaller waves thanks to its forward outline and wide nose, which generate strong forward momentum. This shape helps you get into waves early and stay balanced once you're up and riding, making it a dependable choice even when the surf is weak or mushy.
Is the Quiver Killer stable and reliable in powerful waves?
Yes. The rounded pin tail and lower tail rocker help the board maintain control and stability in larger or more powerful surf. It’s designed to turn easily under your back foot without feeling stiff, giving you the confidence to commit to steeper drops or tighter sections.
What fin setup works best for this board?
The Quiver Killer comes as a 5-fin model, offering both thruster and quad setups. Use it as a thruster for more vertical surfing and precise turns, or switch to a quad for added speed and hold when the waves are faster and more down-the-line.
Can the Quiver Killer really replace a full quiver of boards?
Absolutely. This board was specifically designed to handle a wide range of conditions—from 2-foot slop to overhead barrels. Its shape and rocker profile make it adaptable, whether you're surfing beach breaks, points, or reef passes. It’s a true all-in-one solution for surfers who want one board that does it all.
Has the design of the Quiver Killer changed in the newer release?
The core shape and dimensions have stayed the same. The 2025 version was digitally re-mastered using updated CAD files to improve shaping consistency, but the performance and overall ride remain identical to the original. The branding and logos have been refreshed for a cleaner, modern look.
What wave heights is the Quiver Killer best suited for?
It works great in waves ranging from 2 to 6 feet. The board provides lift and speed in smaller surf, while the tail shape and rocker offer excellent control and drive when the surf gets bigger. It’s versatile enough to be your daily driver, even if the conditions change day to day.
How should I choose the right size for me?
Choosing the right size depends on your weight, skill level, and what you're looking for in performance. Since the Quiver Killer has generous width and volume, many surfers go slightly shorter than their typical shortboard length. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us—we’re happy to help you get the size that matches your needs.
