This year will be the 8th annual Point Panic contest, which runs in the form of a two-day, wave-filled, stoke fest.
Point Panic is one of very few bodysurfing contests with a 3 month holding period, running from July 15th until October 15th, 2016. Why so long? Because for Point Panic, conditions have to be perfect -- 90 feet and glassy. The wait is worth it.
Competitors and spectators flood the South Shore of Oahu to join the madness, excited to perform and watch thrilling and innovative waveriding.
