Joel Tudor is responsible for resurrecting traditional longboarding and inspiring new generations of loggers. He had a successful competitive career, winning numerous world titles as a young surfer and again later in his 40s. Tudor started the prestigious Duct Tape Invitational logging contest and designed classic noseriding boards like the Model T based on 1960s shapes. His influence revived interest in traditional logging and noseriding, cementing his status as the godfather of modern noseriding.
