The In The Pink covers the widest range of any board in the Takayama line. On small, soft days, when a lot of boards stall, its flat entry and wide nose get it into waves early and keep it trimming down the line. On clean, lined-up days with a peeling wall, it sets up for long, stable nose rides. When the surf has real power and size, it holds its line in the pocket instead of sliding out. That range makes it a natural fit for Hawaii, where the same longboard has to handle knee-high mush one day and a solid, fast wall the next.

The In The Pink is built around a wide, parallel outline through the nose and midsection. The extra width up front creates a stable platform for noseriding and adds planing area for paddling and trim. A generous, flat-entry nose rocker lets the board catch waves early and hold speed through soft sections. The overall noserider-style rocker keeps it settled and trimming when you're up front. The 60/40 rails taper into a squaretail, which gives the tail enough bite and release to turn the board when you step back. The result is a longboard that holds you on the nose and responds when you want to surf it from the tail.

Thunderbolt Red: Thunderbolt's original construction, with an EPS foam core and internal carbon fiber flex components, hand-laminated with 6oz and 2oz fiberglass on the deck and bottom for a balanced, predictable feel in a wide range of waves.

Thunderbolt Black: Thunderbolt's lightest, highest-performance construction, with an EPS foam core and internal fiberglass flex components, hand-laminated with 6oz carbon fiber and 2oz fiberglass on the deck and bottom for the fastest rebound in the range.
