This is a board for surfers whose goal on the wave is to walk forward and stay there.

The Sprout 2.0 is built for the conditions noseriders live for — clean, lined-up waves with a defined pocket and enough shoulder to set up long trim runs. It works in the knee-to-head-high range, with its sweet spot in the chest-high zone where there's enough push to plant the nose but not so much steepness that the rocker fights you. The flat entry rocker means you can paddle in early and set your line before the wave stands up, and the beveled Nuuhiwa-style nose concave generates lift the moment you step forward. Hawaii's mix of glassy summer mornings and clean wrap-around shoulder days is the exact terrain this board is designed for.

CJ and Ryan Engle built the Sprout 2.0 around a single goal: extend the time you can spend on the nose without sacrificing the ability to redirect and reset. The shape starts with the relaxed entry rocker of a traditional noserider, then layers in a beveled Nuuhiwa-style concave through the nose that channels water and creates the lift you need to lock in a hang ten. Past versions of the Sprout had softer, fully rolled rails throughout — this version pinches the rails for tighter wave-face connection and adds a hard edge through the tail that sharpens the release on pivot turns. The tail kick has been increased so the back of the board flips up into the pocket, which both holds the board in position during a noseride and helps lift the nose out of the water.

Thunderbolt Silver: Built around a stringerless EPS foam core with internal fiberglass flex components, hand-laminated with 6oz and 2oz fiberglass cloth on both the deck and the bottom. Tuned to a traditional weight and flex pattern that delivers the connected, classic feel of a polyester log while still offering the elevated flex and durability of Thunderbolt construction.

• Stations outside of Alaska and Hawai'i, operated by Alaska and Hawaiian Air Cargo: Storage fees will be assessed after 72 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Minimum charge: $40 per day
