This is a board for surfers who know exactly what they want out of a longboard and are ready to surf it that way.

The HIHP Speed comes into its own when the surf has real energy — chest-high and above, with walls that give you something to work with. It thrives in clean, lined-up conditions where a performance longboard can trim at speed, get up on the nose in the pocket, and snap off the tail on a critical section. In larger, more open faces and hollow surf, the 4+1 box setup lets you shift into a quad configuration for more drive and hold through longer, faster turns. The board's low rails and HP rocker keep it locked in and responsive as conditions build, making it the right choice for the days when most performance longboards start to feel limited.

The HIHP Speed refines the HIHP outline in two key ways: a narrowed nose and tail, and a wide point shifted back a few inches. Together these changes create a more continuous curve through the entire rail line, which shortens the turning radius and gives the board a tighter, more controlled arc in the pocket. The narrower ends also make the board more comfortable to walk without affecting that locked-in trim position — it rides more parallel to the wall when running down the line. Despite being a narrow-nosed performance longboard, the design adjustments produce a genuine noseriding capability: the board planks into the curl and holds in sections where wider-nosed performance boards tend to fall off. The HP rocker — the same rocker Harley has used across the HIHP lineage — remains unchanged, keeping the board quick off the bottom and connected through turns.

Thunderbolt Red: EPS foam core with internal carbon fiber flex components, hand-laminated with fiberglass on both deck and bottom. Delivers a balanced medium rebound rate — highly versatile, user-friendly, and consistent across a wide range of conditions.

• Stations outside of Alaska and Hawai'i, operated by Alaska and Hawaiian Air Cargo: Storage fees will be assessed after 72 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Minimum charge: $40 per day
