"I’ve had it for about a year and it’s great. Especially the past couple of weeks because it was so cold—I’m sitting there smiling while everybody else is freezing. They’re like, 'Oh, it’s so cold,' and I’m like, 'Oh, I’m fine. It’s perfect.' I love it. It really works well, especially when the wind is blowing. Your teeth aren't going to be chattering.

I’ve been using the OG Hawaiian South Shore straw hat for almost 10 years now—maybe 8 to 10 years. Even after all that time and a lot of use, it’s still going. It has a few little cracks on the bottom, but it's still good. I’m back to pick up another one because I have to stick with the same brand. I'm 5'6", about 135 lbs, and I’m waiting on the medium to come back in stock because that’s the fit I need. I’ll definitely be back for it—I’ve got to go with this brand.

Hi, my name is Grandma Joe and I got a new wetsuit because I froze my butt off all week. The wetsuit I got was a 2mm from Japan, and it felt so cozy. I can't even tell you how cozy it was; it was worth every penny. Many mahalos to South Shore. When I first tried it on, I was really skeptical, but I tried it out this morning. It was blowing and freezing, and when I was paddling, I could not feel the zipper. A lot of people are really concerned about that, and I know I was kind of concerned about it too, but it was perfect. It was snug, a size large, and my arms could bend easily. Paddling was easy, and when the wind was howling, I was toasty. So again, many mahalos. Thank you very much.

I just I get cold easily like I go to the movies and I bring my blanket my socks are always in my purse like winter jacket for the mainland it's kind of ridiculous but that's just my body and so the Japanese made wetsuit has been amazing like I'm comfortable, it fits well and it keeps me warm whereas former wetsuits that I've had you know eventually you get start to feel chilly and this doesn't let anything in and then I really appreciated the the zip up design because I know I'm not alone when you're standing there at your car and you're in a rush to go to work or something and you have to pull it up and over and handle that I'm like help me, but the zip is so easy so it makes it really convenient to zip up and down and take off quickly, when paddling it doesn't bother me. I think I'm just so focused on what I'm doing I don't really feel much so as far as the zipper goes so it's okay. I'm probably 120 something and I got the medium I'm pretty sure I got the medium. So if you're usually a small maybe go to a medium I contemplated if I should have been wearing a large because it's pretty fitted so maybe try it on but I definitely think you're gonna go at least a size up also depending on you know if you're Broad and other parts so is the medium working I love it.

I’ve had this suit for probably about 15 years and it’s still going. I still wear it; there are just a few little tears here and there, but it’s been an unreal wetsuit for me. It keeps me warm. This is my go-to suit. It’s a perfect length and I love the zip—it's so easy. It doesn't kill your shoulders like the pullovers do, where your shoulders get really sore trying to get it off. The zipper doesn't bother me at all because it has a protective part. I use it for surfing and a lot of prone paddle boarding; it’s just really nice

The Hawaiian South Shore JPN model, Japanese rubber I had two of them, the blue the rubber is way softer way more comfortable so with the front zip in your paddling you don't feel the Zipper at all there's enough cushion, it's perfect,it's good so the other ones last aboutcouple years guarantee a couple years it's a good investment

Worth paying the extra money for this wetsuit. Best wetsuit I ever owned. Super comfortable and soft. I surf dawn patrol and I wear it every day. It’s going to last a long time too, super high quality. I know several surfers too who all say this wetsuit is the best!

Fantastic high quality durable swim, freedive and surf protection for sure. In Hawaiian and colder waters it has performed beautifully. In the past used to have arm pit issues, rashes, heat, etc, but the way this suit is cut, no issues. Spend the extra $. Buy it. Especially considering it should be a 15 plus year suit when cared for properly.

You get what you pay for, very happy with my purchase. Isurus is my go to but they don’t have a front zip so I took a chance. The fit and finish is spot on.

As advertised, flexible and light. I’m 6’2” and about 195 lbs. and the XXL fit perfectly to include the sleeves not being too short. …great service as usual from HS. Big Mahalos!

I've purchased about a half dozen of this exact wetsuit. I've had various problems, mainly with the zippers failing at the bottom seperating and the whole wetsuit trying to blow over my head. But beside that , I love the fit/confort and warmth that it provides. They only last maybe a year before the elbows where through. I rotate this wetsuit between Excel and Desoto wetsuits to make them all last a little longer. Very good product, will continue to purchase and use them. And recommend them to other surfers that want to stay warm I'm Hawaii. Thank you'
