I've been using the RSC (Real Sun Cover) sunscreen stick for the last 3 days during my recruit class, and I'm a total testament to how well it works! We're out in the hot sun doing swim week rescue training at El Molino, basically out there for 8 hours straight. All of us recruits have been blasting through one guy's stick, covering ourselves head to toe, and it stays on like crazy. You put it on once, and it stays put—I actually have trouble getting it off when I go shower, so you'll definitely need some soap or shampoo to break it down. I’ve been using the Real Sun Cover (RSC) sunscreen since it first came out around 2019. Just came back into the shop to grab another tub in white, and honestly, I love this stuff. The most important thing: it works. I do not get sunburned at all when I wear it. It easily holds up and stays on your face for a solid 2-hour session in the water. Once you're done, you just head home, jump in the shower, and it washes right off without any hassle. Hawaiian South Shore always carries the best gear. If you spend real time in the water, come check them out and grab yourself one.
I’ve been using the RSC sunscreen stick for about two weeks now, and I use it every single day when I go out. I usually surf during peak sun hours from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM when you really get cooked in the sun. I have tattooed eyebrows, so I have to protect them, and this works perfectly. I put it on my eyebrows and my cheeks, and it doesn't smear or get into my eyes. It stays on so well that when I come out of the water, I actually have to use makeup remover to take it off. I use the white vanilla-scented one, and it smells so good it makes you a little hungry when you paddle out!
I’ve been using the RSC tinted face stick, and I really recommend it. I wear it out here all the time and on the North Shore. I recently went to Salina Cruz in Oaxaca, Mexico, and I didn't get sunburned at all. It’s very hot down there, so it worked very well. I also haven't had any issues with it running into my eyes. I really appreciate the product—it's very good.

My name is Christian Stockwell and I'm re-upping my supply of the Real Sun Cover. This is my third time buying it. I work on boats all day and I also surf a lot, and this zinc stays on pretty much all day. It stays out of my eyes the entire time, and I don't have to deal with the eye itching I get from certain other sunscreens. I use it a couple of times a week, just for the face, and one bottle lasts me about six months. You only need to use a little bit and wipe it around. I'm pretty stoked about it.
This is my second bottle. I like it because other sunscreens tend to burn the eyes, but this feels like you have nothing on; it's not irritating. My first bottle lasted almost a year and a half, even with using it almost every day. It's amazing.
I’m Steven Lasik. I’ve had the same sun cover for about two years now and it lasts forever. This stuff is great; I actually came in just for this. It’s easily applicable and I even use it on my one-year-old—he doesn't mind it at all, so it’s actually perfect for the keiki. I have fair skin, but when I use it on my face and head, I don’t get burnt at all. I used the Burt’s for a long time, but this stuff just lasts like twice as long and it’s just better. It spreads better and I really like the scent. The brown doesn't get all over the place, and even if it gets on your suit, it washes right off.

I’ve been using the RSC sunscreen for about six to eight months now, and I still have nearly half the container left. I only need one application and it lasts me almost all day. I use the brown tinted one and I don't get burnt at all, even when I'm out in the water. Plus, it smells way better than the other ones out there—it smells like straight coconuts and cocoa butter. I’d much rather get this one over anything else. You guys gotta get this!
I’m a daily surfer, and I came into the shop specifically for this one product. This is hands down the best sunscreen you could possibly buy for your face—literally as good as it gets. I surf every day and one of these nice big sticks lasts me about a year. I use the cocoa one; it smells great and actually tastes like cocoa too, which is a plus. The protection is solid—I never get burnt when I have this on. Honestly, the only time I ever get a little red is on cloudy days when I forget to apply it. I was raised in Hawaii and I surf here all the time. I just came in to restock on the RSC sunscreen. I use the Cocoa tint—it’s great because it blends in like a nice foundation and makes you look a little tan instead of having that all-white Mark Zuckerberg look. I go out about once or twice a week for two or three hours at a time, and this stuff protects me really well. I never get sunburned. Even using it that often, one stick lasts me more than three months, so it’s the best deal. It’s not messy at all; I just put it on, rub it in, and it even covers the bags under my eyes! I love this stuff.
The reason that I came back to get it again is because it just lasts much longer than anything else that I've used. I use it for paddle boarding and also free diving. If you don't use it, then you get those really nice tan lines—you look like one of those skiers.

I've been using the RSC for about three or four years. It's the only sunscreen I use. I'm out there for three to four hours in direct sunlight and I've never, ever been burned. I've tried other brands, but they feel weird and greasy. This stuff coats well, is easy to put on, and sheds water. It's a phenomenal product. The protection is great and it works perfectly for me.

I found this stuff. One of the great things about it is it doesn’t clog my pores and I don’t break out with it. I wear it on my lips all the time. So now I have one for my beach club, and then I just keep one in my truck. Can’t say enough good things about them. That’s the RSC sunscreen. Been using it for about six months now. Still not done with the other one. I use this on my lips… on my face… if you’ve ever burnt the top of your head, you know sunscreen’s important. Sunscreen that stays on and doesn’t allow you to burn, and then doesn’t irritate my skin. So this is killer.
Dave gave me some of this sunscreen and it’s amazing! Does not run in my eyes, smells great, and I do NoT get burnt. So stoned on it. Wish I could get some for the body too! Love it. Also smells super good. Definitely recommend this.
I use the white one, but it's good to have both because sometimes one's better for someone than the other. I'm restocking; I bought it a year or two ago, and now it's finally actually used up. It lasts a long time.

A friend was putting it on right before we were going to surf and I was like, 'What is that? Is that makeup?' because it's really thick. But I tried it on and after surfing, my face was not at all burned. I didn't put anything on my shoulders and I can see the difference; my face was protected, which is why I'm back. I used the brown one. The only bad thing about it is when you paddle out, you can smell the cocoa and you get hungry! It’s good
Best sunblock I’ve used by far. Easy to apply and once on, it stays on. Perfect to keep your skin protected during those 2 hr plus surf sessions and comes off easy with soap. It also doesn’t burn if it gets into your eyes like with other, inferior sunscreen products.
I have fair skin that sunburns easily and I struggle to find a sunscreen that provides real protection, until this product. Noon to 2:30pm on a sunny day doing 5 miles on the OC-1 and not a lick of burn. No other product protects me as good as this one. You have to be okay with a good layer—don’t rub it in too much, just spread it around. Your future self will thank you! It’s that good!

Hi, I'm Sammy. I use the Real Sun Cover (RSC), and I love it. It's the best sunscreen. It stays on really well in the water during long surf sessions, and I don't get burned. It is hard to take off, but that's good because it means it stays on in the water. You can still feel it when you get out, which is how you know you're protected.

So good! I've now used the Real Sun Cover sunscreen for about 2 weeks now and I am completely happy with it. It feels thick and smeary but doesn't make my skin breakout like some other brands do. Not a hint of sun burn, even after 2-hour surf sessions in the hot California sun! A little goes a long way and there's no need to reapply so this stick(bottle?) should last me for months to come. A great investment for my skin and it is definitely worthy of purchasing again. I highly recommend it! I was leaving for Nicaragua from Las Vegas in a week and I wanted to try Real Sun Cover. I was tired and disappointed in other face sunscreens and had heard and seen good reviews on this product. I called HSS and yes, someone picked up!! I asked them if I put an order in could they get the product to me 6 days. I got good vibes on the phone call and they said they would check and call me back. Boom, they called me back and told me yes. I ordered and I got it 4 days! I’m in Nica surfing now and love Real Sun cover. It works just like the reviews say. Isn’t greasy, applies easily, stays on, protects great, doesn’t smell, feels good on. Works great on sensitive skin, no burning, no breakouts, smells like chocolate. I’m very picky about my sunscreen and this is the only one that doesn’t run into your eyes or burn, plus it’s extremely long lasting in the water and long lasting as you don’t need much product to do the job.
Super convenient and great protection from the sun. Goes on easy and feels nice not sticky like some other sunscreens. Safe for the reefs is a plus.
Kwinn Guillermo, I got this beeswax sunscreen I had it for over a year and she's still going I still get over half 40 bucks. surfed it two to three hours and I still get sunscreen on when I come back got to wash them off she is Big Time. Bought it almost a year ago and it's still going strong still going
