Most fins flex by folding along their entire depth when pressure is applied. The DT Flex Fin is different. A spine runs along the front edge of the fin, which controls how the fin moves under load. Instead of folding, the tip flexes side-to-side — similar to how a fishtail moves. This allows the fin to generate drive and project the board down the line while still providing the flex needed for responsive turning.
