Kevin (6'2" 195 lbs) got the MID 6 and surfs it at Big Island, e loves how it performs.

For Kevin from Big Island, Hawaii, it's a passion that has led him to find his perfect board - the Harley Ingleby MID 6. After purchasing the 7'0" MID 6 from Hawaiian South Shore Surf Shop, Kevin couldn't wait to hit the waves with his new board.

Kevin was lucky enough to try out his new board on a Northeast swell that produced some excellent waves in the West Shore of Big Island. As soon as he got on the board, he was blown away by how fast and maneuverable it was. The quad setup provided him with a smooth ride, with good rocker and the perfect balance of speed and control.

Although he hasn't tried it with the thruster setup, Kevin loves the feel of the quad setup and is excited to try out some larger fins to see how they perform. He plans to lean into the board even more and experience the full potential of the MID 6.

This is not Kevin's first Thunderbolt construction board. He previously owned a 7'6" MID 6, which he also loved. The new 7'0" board is a step up for him, but he's used to riding high volume boards like the Hypto Crypto, so he quickly adapted to the MID 6.

Overall, Kevin is thrilled with his purchase and was impressed with how quickly the team at Hawaiian South Shore Surf Shop got the board to him. He's looking forward to many more epic surf sessions with his Harley Ingleby MID 6, and can't wait to see where it takes him next.
